Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 June 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and EdFleet ("EdFleet", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the EdFleet website, web application, and mobile apps (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are agreeing on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

2. What EdFleet provides

EdFleet is software that helps schools manage fees, attendance, exams, staff, parent communication, and related tasks, including an AI Assistant that answers questions about a school's own data. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • Accounts are for schools and their authorised staff. You must give accurate information when you sign up.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to break any law or to harm others.
  • Upload data you do not have the right to use.
  • Try to access another school's data, or to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • Resell or misuse the Service in ways these terms do not allow.

5. Your data and your responsibilities

Your data belongs to you. The school keeps ownership of all the data it enters into EdFleet. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Because your records include personal information about students, parents, and staff — much of it about children — you are responsible for having the right to enter that data and for obtaining any consent that the law requires. You are also responsible for the messages you choose to send to parents and staff through the Service.

6. Fees and billing

EdFleet offers a free plan and paid plans. If you choose a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees for that plan. Migration, setup, training, and a support period are included as described at the time you sign up. We will give reasonable notice before changing prices.

7. Intellectual property

EdFleet and its software, design, and brand belong to us. These terms do not give you any ownership of the Service itself — only the right to use it while your account is active. Your data remains yours.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on trusted third-party providers (for example, for hosting, file storage, WhatsApp messaging, and the AI Assistant). These providers are listed in our Privacy Policy. Their own terms may also apply to how those features work.

9. Service availability and warranties

We work hard to keep the Service running reliably, but we provide it "as is". We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We may carry out maintenance and updates from time to time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, EdFleet is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms removes any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

11. Termination and data export

You can stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken. If your account ends, you can request a full export of your data (in CSV format), as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Pakistan.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service or the law changes. When we make an important change, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, let you know.
